Community engagement is one of the many ways that we live out our Episcopal identity and our school motto, Respect for Self, Respect for Others, and Respect for the World. Community engagement is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful service with instruction and reflection to enrich every Gooden student’s learning experience, to teach civic responsibility, and to strengthen the entire community. Projects are interwoven across the curriculum so that meaningful connections are made in all grades and in all subject areas.
