Caroline Potter, a former Gooden student returned to Gooden last year… to teach third grade! She made Gooden history by being the first alumna to graduate from the school and return to teach.

“The best thing about The Gooden School is returning after ten years and finding that the core values of the school have not changed. My favorite memories are from my middle school science class. The hands-on, exploratory experiments we did instilled a strong love of learning that I still carry with me today. I became a teacher because of my experience at Gooden. The things you learn and gain from a Gooden education carry with you for a lifetime. It wasn’t until high school and college that I realized that the success I experienced in my classes was due to what I had learned at Gooden. Gooden gave me a strong foundation for my life.”
