At The Gooden School, we strive to make the admissions application process go as smoothly as possible, recognizing that this can be a major commitment of time and energy (and perhaps a little overwhelming) as parents search for the right placement for their children. Parents interested in the independent school program may wish to attend a Tour and Orientation (see our Home Page for the dates and times of upcoming events). 

Students applying for Kindergarten will participate in testing conducted by Integrated Learning Solutions, an independent testing company that tests applicants for kindergarten. Kindergarten applicants will also attend a scheduled play date in January or February. Applicants for all other grades are invited to spend a day or a portion of a day at the independent school in Sierra Madre to get a true feeling for life on campus. Classroom visits are arranged on a mutually convenient day by the director of admissions.
